Key Responsibilities

  • Format and design e-books using Microsoft Word and Canva, ensuring consistency and visual appeal across all pages.

  • Convert manuscripts and content into professional e-book formats (ePub, PDF, mobi) optimized for different devices and platforms.

  • Collaborate with authors, editors, and project managers to understand formatting requirements and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Apply appropriate typography, layouts, chapter headings, page breaks, tables of contents, and image placements.

  • Ensure all e-books meet technical specifications and quality standards for various e-readers and distribution platforms.

  • Proofread formatted e-books for typographical errors, formatting inconsistencies, and graphical alignment issues.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, formatting software updates, and best practices in e-book publishing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word with advanced formatting skills.
