Skill Requirements

Progressive lens range knowledge in all major brands. Know how to mark lenses for Single Vision, Bifocals and Progressives.
Overall knowledge of ophthalmic lenses in all materials, indices, types and coatings.
Overall knowledge of contact lenses in all categories, brands and applications. Know how to fit specialty contact lenses like Torics and Multifocals.
Working knowledge of major branded eye wear.
Ability to analyze and resolve issues as they arise, technical as well as social.
Ability to multi task and be calm in stressful situations.
Willingness to be trained.
